Barind Medical College Campus:

Barind Medical College & Hospital (BMCH) Campus is constructed on 2.8 acres of land situated 8 km away from the city center Rajshahi court area in the calm, quiet location called Chhoto Bongram of Boalia, Rajshahi. BMCH has 2 Academic buildings and one multi-storied Hospital with 500 in-patient beds. The total constructed area is 15,800 sq meters with all modern educational facilities.

Students can interact with all kinds of patients in indoor, outdoor, and emergency departments as part of their regular clinical teaching and learning process. Thus, students can practice communication, interviewing, data gathering skills, physical examination, and patient assessment techniques among rural and urban populations.

Mentoring and Monitoring by the teachers:

Every student from the first year in BMCH is assigned to a particular teacher for mentoring. The mentor also monitors the selected student up to the final year and helps him/her overcome academic or other problems and sometimes address some personal issues.

Barind Medical College has a well-decorated, air-conditioned library for its students, teachers, and academic staff. It is located on the 3rd Floor of Breeze Tower Academic Building. Professional Librarian, Assistant Librarian, and helping staff at the reference/circulation desk performing literature searches and services. Internet, E-mail, and photocopy facilities for Library users are available. Strength of International Students in BMCH:

At present, nearly 87 students from 2 countries study MBBS at BMCH. Out of them, 80 are from India only. Rest are from Nepal. That means nearly 20% of the students in BMCH are international students from different parts of India, like West Bengal, Assam, Kasmir, Rajsthan, Delhi, and Nepal. So Admission in BMC facilitates the opportunity to expose the students to multiple cultural environments, which enriches their knowledge and experience.

Language of Instructions:

All the medical subjects are taught in the English medium at Barind Medical College, BMCH. 

There are three hostels for BMCH students, one for the girls and two for boys. The college authority manages these three hostels. The hostels are located near the Campus. The boy's hostel is approximately 8 minutes walking, and Girl's Hostel is 4 minutes walking from the Medical College campus. Students can also live in rented apartments if they wish. The college canteen is located near the Campus, where students can take their meals at a fixed monthly rate.

BMCH is located in Chhoto Bongram area of Rajshahi near to Boalia, 9 km away from Rajshahi airport and 3 km from Rajshahi Railway station. The nearby area of the campus is surrounded by a picturesque lush green environment of the village.
