Language of Instructions:

Most of the medical subjects are taught in the English medium at Altai State Medical University. However, some clinical lectures from 3rd year will be in the Russian medium. This is common all over Russia and other Russian countries as per the instructions given by their respective Government. That is why the Russian language is also taught in the Universities right from 1st year till 3rd year. It helps the students to communicate with the patients in their hospital classes. Some of the exams are taken in the Russian language at Altai State Medical University.

There are four hostels for Altai State Medical University students, which are located in the center of the city. Out of those four, one is for the International students only.
