MBBS Abroad Frequently Asked Questions. You may have tons of questions about MBBS in China. We have answers to all.

All admissions in Abroad for foreign students are direct. So far NO Entrance test is taken by any University. However all Universities have a minimum percentage requirement like 50%, 60% or 70% in PCB and in English. All admissions are done on the basis of which student has applied 1st, provided minimum percentage is there. So earlier you apply, better is your chance of admission.

Some Universities will take interview over phone or Skype to judge the English speaking power of the student, before granting admission.

Some Universities will check NEET marks too.

Yes, from 1st June 2018 onwards, qualifying in NEET exam is required to become eligible to work as a doctor in India.

NEET results will remain valid for 3 consecutive years. That means if you qualify in NEET in 2018, then you can take admission abroad till 2020. But admission has to be in proper MBBS or equivalent course. Call us to know the rule properly as only for Philippines you may face problems in future if you are not clear about this rule.

So students taking admission in countries like Philippines, Central America, South America etc, where initially admission is given only in Pre-Medical or BS (Bachelor of Science) and then in Medical (M.D. Or MBBS) after 18 months or 24 months, you have to qualify NEET in India again after 2 years. Qualifying NEET in 2019 and joining in Pre-medical will not help you. You have to qualify NEET again in 2021. Plz check details about MCI eligibility of Philippines students here.

In 2018 NEET qualifying marks were 96 for SC/ST/OBC and 119 for general or open case category out of total 720 marks.

Yes, No problem in that. You can take admission in abroad without NEET in few colleges.

You will become Doctor and can work in any country of your choice, except India.

The best time to apply is January to March end of the year of admission. All seats will be booked by that time. So apply before this time to get confirmed admission in China.

For other Countries you will get time till June end.

Yes you can always book your seat on the basis of 10 mark sheet and paying the Booking amount. Students who book their seat through us will get 100% admission.

Yes you can apply without passport. But you must apply it as soon as possible. We will require your passport before June end to make necessary papers. Some Universities will not accept application without passport.

Yes you can get confirmed admission in your choice of University in that case, but you must apply immediately before all seats in that University are filled up.

Yes you can get confirmed admission in that case. Many universities abroad do not check Class 12 board marks.

Those Universities admit only NEET qualified students. Omkar Medicom has 5-6 Universities of that category but you must apply immediately before all seats in that University are filled up.

You can wait for your NEET result and then apply through us. We will be able to admit in some colleges but not in all countries. You will not get a seat in China.

After NEET results are declared, you will hardly get any seat vacant in China.

Yes we can refund your application money after you send us your Admission letter and Fees payment receipt of that Medical College in India. This can be done if you book through us in Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyz and Bangladesh.

For China and Philippines, Application or Booking money can’t be refunded for this reason. University fees paid by that time will not be refunded too. That is why in general, University fees are taken after June. By that time all results will be declared.

Application or Booking money can’t be refunded if you fail in 10+2 exam.

However if your percentage is low, and your choice of university deny admission, then we will try our level best to get your admission done in any other MCI approved college. So far all students who has booked through us has got admission.

But if you fail in 10+2 then we are helpless.

Application or Booking money paid to Omkar Medicom will be 100% refunded if you cant qualify in NEET and hence you want to discontinue with your admission (except for 3-4 universities).

However, if any money is transferred direct by you to University Bank account, that can not be refunded.

Surely you can wait till August middle. But cases will be different country to country:

CHINA: For some of the Chinese Universities you must pay their Tuition fees as required, after getting the Admission Letter. Otherwise your admission will be automatically cancelled and money, paid till that date, will not be refunded. University will take new student from their waiting list in that case.

OTHER COUNTRIES: Pay the initial Application amount, get the admission letter and wait till August middle to see the status of your admission possibilities in India and then either forgo the admission abroad or pay the balance payment required.

If you forgo your abroad admission you will loose only the initial Application amount.

Yes. MBBS done in all our Universities is approved by Medical Council of India or MCI.

MCI usually make any addition or alteration, if any, in their list within April. Every year new list is not published. In the last few years, MCI list was edited once in 2017 and again in 2019.

Now we are doing admissions for only those Universities, which are well established for many years. Those Universities will not go out of the list.

Worst if it happens before you reach the University, then we will accommodate you in another MCI APPROVED COLLEGE / UNIVERSITY in the countries we do.

We are the only consultancy who does admission for almost all countries where Indian students usually go.

So far in our history this incident happened only once when Kazan Federal University was deleted from MCI list in 2017. We admitted all our 6 students of Kazan Federal in Altai State Medical University successfully.

MCI Screening test was the Licensing exam for students who have studied abroad.

But now MCI Screening test or FMGE has been replaced by NEXT test for the students passing from year 2019 or onwards. Now students studying in India (in any college, government or private) will also have clear this NEXT test before getting Indian medical Registration number.

Previous MCI Screening test was : The Medical Council of India stipulates that all students studying MBBS program from Medical Colleges outside India and wants to practice in India after completion of their program, need to appear for a Screening Test officially known as FMGE ( Foreign Medical Graduate Examination ) taken by NBE ( National Board of Examination ) which is a 300 marks no negative marking MCQ test.

This test is presently taken in 55 cities all over India. Within 2 years there will be in total 300 centers in India.

If you do not pass MCI test in one chance, you can appear any number of times.

MCI passing varies from country to country. In recent times the scenario has changed totally. Just check the present situation given below:

CHINA: Normally a student who passes MBBS from Medical Universities in China is always expected to clear the test due to its high standard of Medical education in China.

We just expect the students to clear MCI / NEXT test who study properly according to the guidelines told to them by us and the University from time to time.
