Seat Booking Fee has to be paid immediately after getting the Confirmation letter scanned copy of Gonoshasthaya Samaj Vittik Medical College. Students failing to pass the Final MBBS Exam in five years must pay nominal tuition fees and Hostel fees for an extended period.
Gonoshasthaya Samaj Vittik Medical College or GSV Medical College Institute of Health Sciences was established and approved in 1989 by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Previously it was a separate University known as Gono Biswabidyalaya and now affiliated to Dhaka University and is recognized by the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC).

Gonoshasthaya Samaj Vittik Medical College or GSV Medical College is the 2nd oldest and the Largest Non-Government Medical College in Bangladesh.
Gonoshasthaya Kendra (GK), established in 1972 and the founder of GSV Medical College, is a registered Public Charitable Trust and one of the oldest non-governmental, non-profit, and national-level organizations in Bangladesh. GK has been serving Bangladesh for nearly 50 years. GK, a people-oriented healthcare-based non-governmental organization, provides community and institutional services in healthcare, women empowerment, disaster management, education, agriculture, and fundamental rights-based advocacy.
Library of Gonoshasthaya Samaj Vittik Medical College:
GSV Medical College library is now on the fourth floor of the Academic building, covering 4,224 square feet. This library is fully air-conditioned with a seating capacity of two hundred students or teachers at a time. It is open from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.
The library uses the Computerized Documentation System (CDS) and Integrated Set for Information System (ISIS) provided by UNESCO to keep all records. Besides books and journals on general subjects, there is a good collection of medical science books from home and abroad.
There is a documentation room with 78 valuable documents on the medical-related field. These documents are highly helpful for research. There are six English and Bengali dailies and weekly magazines for the readers.
At present, it has about 20,000 books. New titles are included every year to enrich the library.

The biggest dialysis center in Bangladesh, Gonoshasthaya dialysis center is a 25 unit dialysis facility equipped with a modern dialysis apparatus, like an infection-free active endotoxin filter and skilled bio-medical technicians, doctors, and nurses. These automated dialyzer machines can be used several times using US protocol. It can record Blood sugar (RBS) and blood pressure while the session is commencing.

Academic activities of GSV Medical College are carried out with the following facilities:
Students are taught here as per the BMDC syllabus, the same as the MCI curriculum. The teaching method includes; lectures, tutorials, practicals, small group discussions, and community training. It is mandatory to attend all the item and card exam for each student. GSV Medical College is a Public Health based Medical College dedicated to improving the health of the poor class. That is why all students will learn some basic courses that are excluded from the BMDC curriculum. The students must have to finish all these courses successfully before the final professional MBBS examination. These courses are a little bit Bengali and English language, gender studies & women development, environmental science, computer, ethics & quality, and rural administration.

At present, nearly 180 students from 2 countries study MBBS at GSVMCH. Out of them, 160 are from India only. Rest are from Nepal. Indian students are from different parts of India, like West Bengal, Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, Manipur, and other North-East states.
Language of Instructions:
Teachers will teach all the medical subjects in the English medium at GSV Medical College. A little bit of knowledge of Bengali and Hindi will be better for students to understand the fieldwork community classes.
There are two hostels for GSV Medical College International students, one for the girls and one for the boys. The college authority manages these hostels. The hostels are located inside the Campus. The college canteen is also inside the Campus at Sulochana building, where students can take their meals at a fixed monthly rate. Veg and non-veg food are available in the college canteen for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Several decent private accommodations for the students in the university's environment-friendly neighborhood, approved by the university, are also available.
