Language of Instructions in South East University:

• All the medical subjects are taught only in the English medium at South East University.
• Side by side, the Chinese language class is also compulsory for International students 45 minutes per class, thrice weekly.
• The professors will teach students common vocabulary to help them in day to day living.
• In higher stages, they will teach the students about Medical Terminology in the Chinese language.
• Usually, in the 1st year, there will be more number of Chinese language classes.
• Later, it will be for every week to keep the practice.
• It helps the students to communicate with the patients in their hospital classes at a later stage.
• South East University will take all medical subject exams in the English language only.

• SEU's International Students Dorms are situated across the Sipailou Campus, Dingjiaqiao Campus, and Jiulong Lake Campus.
• First-year students primarily reside at Jiulong Lake Campus.
• Medical students predominantly live at the Dingjiaqiao Campus, while students from other majors are accommodated at the Sipailou Campus.
• Commuting between Sipailou and Dingjiaqiao Campuses takes approximately 15 minutes by bicycle.
