Kabardino Balkarian State University or KBSU is located in Nalchik city of South Russia.

• It was established in 1957, but the history of the medical college of KBSU traces back to 1925.

The history of the Medical College of Kabardino Balkarian State University traces up to 1925 since opening the midwifery course at the Lenin school campus.

At present, the hospital complex of KBSU has Modern well-equipped buildings for treatment of:

• TB,
• STI Clinic,
• Cardiology Center,
• Perinatal Center, and
• The Republican Children’s Clinical Hospital.

Several New Buildings were constructed in recent times, which has added a vast number of in-patient beds. The network of municipal hospitals in Nalchik was also attached to the University.
Old buildings have been renovated, and new clinics were built along with antenatal clinics, two children's clinics, two dental clinics.

The Medical College of Kabardino Balkarian State University has 17 departments:

• Three medical and biological departments of Pathology, Physiology, Microbiology, and Pharmacology.
• 14 Clinical departments of Therapeutic, Surgical, Children's disease, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dermatology, Infectious disease, Neurology, Psychiatry, Gerontology, Public Health, etc

The university has its own simulation center of the highest category. On high-tech simulators, students gain practical skills, learn to provide medical care, work with the patient.

At present, nearly 1100 students from 12 countries study MBBS at the low Fee Medical College of KBSU, Russia. Out of them, 900 are from India only. The rest are from Iraq, Egypt, Syria, Nigeria, Mongolia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, and other countries. Every year nearly 150 Indian students take admission here because, among all Medical Colleges in Russia in English medium, KBSU has:

Bilingual Study Pattern in Kabardino Balkarian State University:

• 70% of all the medical subjects are taught in the English medium at Kabardino Balkarian State University Medical College.
• 30% of the medical subjects, especially the Clinical topics, will be conducted in the Russian medium.
• The Russian language class is compulsory for International students daily for the 1st three years.
• The professors will teach students enough Russian to help them in day-to-day living.
• In higher stages, students will learn Medical Terminology in the Russian language.

Hostel buildings for International students are located next to the campus of KBSU. Rooms are well equipped with Heater, bath on every floor, mess, and security room on the ground floor of every building. Our package includes the Hostel fees. Living in the University hostel is not compulsory. Indian mess with pure Indian Veg and Non-Veg food at a fixed monthly cost is also available.

Note: There is a scarcity of hostel rooms in Kabardino Balkarian State University.
