All students willing to go to Ukraine for medical studies are advised to know and understand the KROK exam details.

Understanding Krok Exam:

• Students who wish to study MBBS in Ukraine must understand the details of the Krok exam.
• Any student studying medical in Ukraine will have to qualify 2 Licensing exams apart from regular university exams. Krok 1 and Krok 2.
• A student must clear both Krok 1 and Krok 2 to get the final degree.

Krok 1:

Krok 1 is taken at the end of the 3rd year. If a student qualifies Krok 1, then he/she will start classes of 4th year. Otherwise, the Student will have to wait for another year to give the Exam again. In total, a student will get three chances to clear Krok 1.

If a student fails in these three chances, then he/she will have to stop medical education, and foreigners will go back to the home country.

Krok 1 Exam:

The Exam is four hours for international students, taken in a single day. MCQ TEST: 200 questions (5 answers and 4 answers choice both).

• Biology – 7%
• Biological Chemistry – 16%
• Histology, Cytology, and Embryology – 4%
• Microbiology, Virology, and Immunology – 18.5%
• Physiology – 6%
• Pathophysiology – 16%
• Pathomorphology – 12.5%
• Pharmacology – 11%
